Moissac
This town in Tarn and Garonne is internationally renowned for the Benedictine Abbey of St Pierre and for it's well preserved cloister. Fruit lovers will also find this town a delight - on Saturday and Sunday mornings there is a picturesque market. The town is particularly well known for the chasselas dessert grape.

Le Canal du Midi
The canal is the result of Piere Riquet's mad project to link the Atlantic with the Mediterranean.
The Canal du Midi is the oldest canal in Europe still in
use and includes some exceptional architecture. Lined with
gracious plane trees, the canal is a unique place to discover
on foot, by bike or by boat. The canal was classified as
a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1997.
